For effective EMC CIFS server auditing with ADAudit Plus, the user configured on the Domain Settings page of ADAudit Plus (found in the top-right corner of the console and referred to below as the Domain Settings user) must either be an admin account or be provided with the minimum privileges listed below.
- Read and Write privileges to set the SACL automatically in the shares that are to be audited.
- Read privileges on the EMC audit log share path. Refer to this help page for steps to update the share path.
- Read and Write privileges for the EMC Registry Editor.
